Fall 2008 Registration Now in Progress

Anyone still wishing to participate in the Fall Season must register by mail by completing the registration form and sending it with payment to the following address:

JULY 5th is the LAST DATE we will be able to accept any further registrations in order to allow for team formations/assignments, game scheduling, and uniform order and printing to occur in a timely manner.  We will not be able to make any exceptions to this deadline.   

If your child is a new player please provide a copy (to be submitted to FYSA) of his/her official State Birth Certificate (not a Hospital Certificate).

U13 Beach Side Competitive Team Tryout

Any U13 players that are interested in playing on a competitive team are invited to tryout on Sunday, July 6th at the Cocoa Beach Field (behind Roosevelt Elementary School) from 5:00 - 6:30 PM.  If it is raining, the tryout will be held at the Cocoa Beach Recreation Center (321 Ramp Rd., Cocoa Beach), so bring sneakers just in case.

** Attention Competitive Team Players **

All players who have been selected to play on a Brevard Cyclone or Brevard United competitive team must submit a completed registration form and $320/player comp fees by July 5th. 

Registration can be completed on Monday, June 30th at Gardendale Elementary School from 5:30 - 7:00 PM or by mail (must be postmarked no later than July 5th) by sending it to:

2008 Competitive Team Tryout Results

The results of the team tryouts are now available for Brevard Cyclones Girls and Brevard United Boys competitive teams.  The CBS Coaching Staff are still working on finalizing the formation of several teams as well as identifying coaching assignments so please check back as updates will be posted as periodically.

Summer 2008 Soccer Skills Training Camp

Central Brevard Soccer will be hosting their annual Summer Soccer
Skills Training Camp for all U7-U12 players.  The camp will be held at Gardendale Elementary School and conducted by Director of Boys Coaching Scooty Carey and Staff over six sessions: 6/16, 6/30, 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28.

Inaugural Central Brevard 3v3 Challenge at Merritt Island

CBS hosted the Brevard 3v3 Challenge at Mitchell Ellington Park on June 7th and 8th.  Approximately 55 teams competed ranging in age from U7 through Adult with a number of CBS teams taking top honors including the U10 Girls and U8, U9, U11 Boys teams.  Many thanks go out to all of the CBS volunteers and the folks at Challenge Sports for making the weekend such a huge success.  Final results for all age groups and pictures from the event can be found at ChallengeSports.com.

Congratulations to the Island Girls and Coach Claudia for an exceptional performance at the Inaugural Central Brevard Soccer 3v3 Challenge at Mitchell Ellington Park June 7^th and 8^th. The girls were unstoppable, taking first place in the U10 Comp division with 6-2, 11-0 and 9-4 wins over Port Saint John United, VB Hot Shots and the Indialantic Force on Saturday and a decisive victory of 5-1 over Port Saint John United to clinch the championship on Sunday. The girls did incredible job working together as a team to win the tournament.
